You can use any information about the event and instance that Spektrix exposes via its API. Here's the complete list:

  • instance.event.description
  • instance.event.duration
  • instance.event.name
  • instance.event.instanceDates (the date range of performances)
  • instance.isOnSale
  • instance.start (the date/time of the performance)
  • instance.seatingPlan.name
  • instance.seatingPlan.venue.name
  • instance.seatingPlan.venue.address
  • instance.seatingPlan.venue.fullAddress (name and address combined)
  • instance.seatingPlan.capacity

For example:

We hope you're looking forward to {{ instance.event.name }}!

Would output:

We hope you're looking forward to Hamlet!

Attributes

You can use any attribute template that is shown in the Spektrix API. These usually take the following format:

{{ instance.attribute_AttributeNameWithNoSpaces }}

Or for an event attribute:

{{ instance.event.attribute_AttributeNameWithNoSpaces }}

If you'd like us to check the name of an attribute you're using, please drop us a line.

Blank fields

Be aware that fields might well be blank if they aren't required in Spektrix! If you want to avoid this, you could use an if/else statement to check whether the field is blank or not before you use it.

Something missing?

If there's a field you'd like to use that isn't listed here, please let us know and we'll see what we can do.
