New events and instances will show up automatically in crowdEngage once they're set up in Spektrix.

We check for changes every hour, so you should see those reflected in crowdEngage in under 60 minutes from the time they are made on Spektrix.

When an event is imported, it will use the default conversation as its own default for instance imports. You can change this on a per-event basis if needed. Then, when instances for that event are imported, they will use the event's default conversation as their conversation. You can override the conversation on a per-instance basis.

Note that the default conversation only ever sets what conversation new instances will use when they are imported to crowdEngage. When it comes to sending messages, the conversation on the instance will be used.
